Elf Butterfly
The Elf Butterfly (Microtia elva) is a small brown butterfly that can be found in Venezuela and north through Central America into Mexico. It is rarely seen in South Texas and southern Arizona.
The Elf's black forewings are elongated and rounded. The forewing has two large orange patches.
Wing spread: 1" - 1 7/16"
