The Indra Swallowtail (Papilio indra) is a beautiful butterfly, black with a yellow dash, and generally short tails.
It ranges throughout the western United States, most commonly in the mountains and canyons of Nevada, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona and southern California, as well as the Northwest US.
