The Mexican Fritillary (Euptoieta hegesia) is a medium-sized butterfly. It can sometimes be found in southern California, central Arizona, and central Texas, as well as Mexico, Central America, and the West Indies.
Its coloration is typically bright orange with dark brown markings.
