Weidemeyer's Admiral

Weidemeyer's Admiral (Limenitis weidemeyerii) is a medium-sized butterfly found in southern Alberta down into parts of east-central California, southeastern Arizoan and southern New Mexico. Its upperside is black with a white band on both wings.

Wing spread: 2.25"- 3.75"

Host Plants: Poplar, aspens, cottonwoods, willows, ocean spray, shadbush
